1. How do you usually get around in your city?

Most of the time I just hop on the metro because it’s fast and pretty reliable. If I’m only going a short distance, I’ll walk, especially in the city centre where traffic can be a nightmare. Every now and then I’ll grab a bike or a taxi, but those are more for convenience than my daily routine.

2. Do you often use public transport?

Yeah, I use it practically every day. I rely on it to get to work during the week, and at the weekend I take it to meet friends or go shopping. It saves me the hassle of finding parking, and it’s a lot cheaper than owning and maintaining a car in a busy city like mine.

3. What kinds of public transport are available where you live?

Where I live, we’ve got a pretty decent mix: there’s an underground metro system, buses, and a network of trams in the central areas. On top of that, there are suburban trains that link the city with nearby towns. We even have a bike-sharing scheme, which technically isn’t traditional public transport, but it’s run by the city and really popular.

4. Do you prefer travelling by bus or by train?

I definitely prefer travelling by train. It’s generally smoother and faster, and you’re less affected by traffic jams, which can be really unpredictable. Trains also feel a bit more spacious and comfortable, so I can read or listen to a podcast without feeling cramped. Buses are fine, but they can be a bit stop-start and crowded at rush hour.
