1. Do you like reading? Why or why not?

Yeah, I’d say I really enjoy reading, especially when I can switch off from work. It helps me unwind and, at the same time, it sort of broadens my horizons. When I’m absorbed in a good book, I forget about my phone and all the daily stress, which is incredibly refreshing.

2. What kind of books do you enjoy reading?

I usually go for novels, particularly contemporary fiction, because I love following complex characters and relationships. From time to time, I’ll pick up a psychology or self-help book if I’m curious about a specific topic. I’m not really into fantasy or sci-fi, but a gripping mystery or a well-written memoir always hooks me.

3. Do you prefer reading printed books or e-books?

To be honest, I still prefer printed books. I like the feeling of turning real pages and seeing how far I’ve read, and it’s easier on my eyes than staring at a screen. That said, e-books are really convenient when I’m travelling, so I kind of use both depending on the situation.

4. Did your parents read to you when you were a child?

Yes, they did, especially my mum. She used to read bedtime stories to me almost every night, and I was completely captivated by the pictures and the voices she put on for different characters. Looking back, I think that routine really sparked my imagination and laid the foundation for my love of reading now.
